Habitat: Birds of Prey

  • Longfellow Pond 200 Oakland Street Wellesley, MA, 02481 United States (map)

Get outside and watch the seasons change with us this fall! Our hour-long habitat classes are a safe and fun way to get your youngsters out and exploring the world around them. Each class, we will explore a new habitat and the animals that live there through hands-on exploration, games, crafts, and a story. Sign up for as many classes as you’d like!

Things to Know:

  • Classes are for children ages 2-5, with an adult.

  • Classes last for 55 minutes, from 9:30am - 10:25am on Wednesday & Friday mornings.

  • Classes are held at one of two locations:

    • On Wednesdays, classes are held at Nahanton Park in Newton.

    • On Fridays, classes are held at Longfellow Pond in Wellesley.

  • The class will be held outdoors, so come prepared with sunscreen, bugspray, warm clothes, rain jackets, etc.! In the case of inclement weather:

    • In Newton, class will be moved to an indoor space at this location. We will still try to get outside as much as possible, so dress prepared!

    • In Wellesley, class will be rescheduled and a credit will be offered, as there is no indoor space at this location. You will be notified by 8:00am the morning of class if class must be cancelled due to weather.

  • Each class must have a minimum of 2 children to run. If a minimum of 2 children are not signed up by 6:00pm the day before class, we will cancel the class due to low enrollment, and issue a credit to anyone already enrolled.

  • COVID-19 UPDATE: PUDDLESTOMPERS requires masks to be worn for any indoor activity, and strongly encourages the use of masks outdoors. If you would like your child to continue to wear at all times during our programs, please contact us at info@puddlestompers.com to let us know.
