PUDDLESTOMPERS Birthday Parties are full of active nature fun! Our birthday parties get kids outdoors and moving as they learn about their favorite concept in nature, chosen from over 200 different nature topics that we have in our library. Our At-Home Birthday Parties bring the nature fun to you as we learn all about the natural world in your very own outdoor space. Please note that At-Home Birthday Parties are only available on SATURDAYS and SUNDAYS. At-home parties must be booked at least two weeks in advance to guarantee availability of our teaching staff. PUDDLESTOMPERS does not provide party supplies such as cake, decorations, tablecloths, utensils, etc. Children will be sitting on a provided tarp or up moving and exploring for the duration of the party; chairs are not provided.

Designed for children ages 2-9. Our teacher-naturalists are skilled in adapting any lesson to the age range, size, energy level, and specific needs of the group. Depending on the age and your comfort level, parents are welcome to stay and participate in as little or as much of the program as they’d like!

Each at-home party is scheduled for one hour. We recommend asking guests to arrive 5-10 minutes before our program is scheduled to begin, to make sure we can get started on time!

Our at-home parties are designed to take place in a backyard or outdoor space at your home. Our parties work best if there is a medium-to-large open space for active games, and a natural area suitable for exploration, digging, and/or collection of natural materials (e.g. to dig for worms, collect sticks to build a birds’ nest, etc.)
If you do not have a suitable outdoor space at your home, you are welcome to hold your party at a local park or reservation in your town. Please contact the Parks & Recreation Department in your town for a permit to hold a party at one of these locations.

We will provide all the materials necessary for our program, activities, games, and craft. Anything else (refreshments, gifts, decorations, etc.) is up to you!
Our parties are designed to be held 100% outdoors if weather permits. Please instruct your guests to dress accordingly, and be prepared to get a little dirty!

Please note that for the safety and effectiveness of our programs, we limit the size of the group that can attend. Our programs tend to work best with groups of 15 children or less, but you can add up to 5 more children (maximum of 20) for an additional cost per child.

Wearing masks is optional but encouraged if you or your child are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. This policy is subject to change.
